Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many
changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates.

If you try to open a folder in Gigolo, it means that Gigolo executes the
command for the file manager which is set in the preferences dialog.
This command is "gvfs-open" by default.

You can run Gigolo from a terminal emulation program like this:
gigolo --verbose

If you run Gigolo from a terminal with teh subfolder, does it give any
error messages? Could you copy/paste the error to this bug?
