PLEASE could the Release Management team ensure this goes in before
Lucid goes to Gold release?  I use my machine to remotely connect to
work (Citrix/VPN) as well as other Sun Java apps out there...

Currently on Hardy - but I plan to buy a new netbook with Lucid preinstalled... then upgrade this R61i from the preinstall it currently has (I buy from Linux Emporium).  And I'd be scared of breaking the machine - far less risk if it's in the repos..
(also better for downstream people - like Dell and Mint).

Might it be an idea to enter into discussions with Oracle to get full
Sun Java into the Partner repos going forward?  You know - like we do
with Adobe?  Just an idea from an end-user...
