[Bug 522269] Re: Segfault in gitg when changing branches from menu

The application the dies.  It prints the following text in the terminal
on which I started it:

(gitg:27775): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_get_value: assertion
`VALID_ITER (iter, list_store)' failed

(gitg:27775): GLib-GObject-WARNING **:
/build/buildd/glib2.0-2.22.3/gobject/gtype.c:3942: type id `0' is
invalid

(gitg:27775): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: can't peek value table for type
`<invalid>' which is not currently referenced

[1]+  Segmentation fault      (core dumped) gitg
