  When trying to connect to our FreeNX server, QtNX hangs. The text in the
  status bar and Logging Output reads "Process started". No further
  messages are displayed.

+ run from terminal and report the messages displayed there. QtNX fails to display some important messages in the gui but writes them to STDOUT.
