This is generally caused by attempting to run mythbackend on an
unsupported CPU.  Newer builds are more strict upon their optimizations
and require extra extensions to be supported that are not part of the
standard x86 instruction set.

Additionally, your issue with the initscript failing has been resolved
as we now use upstart.
