Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gthumb
Hi,
When the filename contains a space, the code %20 is printed instead.
I think we will have the same issues for accentuated and national characters.
This is not very pretty and meaningful, specially for non IT users...
Also, I think that the file:// protocal prefix is useless.
May be, all this this was done to allow opening the file in a document
url, but I think that it should be only an option, if really useful.
In my mind, the most efficient would be to print only the filename, not
the directory names. Most people simply identify their images like this,
and would be happy to see only this printed. In fact, the path relative
to the directory entered would be the best.
Do not forget dummies !
Thanks for them.
