The inability to seek in some players is due to Sound Juicer not
generating seektables.  You can run a script that will correct files
that you've already ripped (attached).  Just execute it in the root of a
directory containing a lot of flac files; it recursively searches and
adds seektables.

Of course, the ideal solution would be to integrate seektable generation
into the actual creation of the flac file.
