The problem is Xorg used in 10.04 lucid lynx. I run the alpha 2 in my laptop which run 9.10 without problem. 
The problem:
after the grub menu, the loading screen (with the logo under a spotlight) the screen is started to blink. The problem still going on after I log in. Then the ubuntu notify about crach on hal_hald-probe-input. Then while I try to report the crash, the screen went blank (the screen in milk colour). 
Finally, the system is not responding even alt+ctrl+f1, alt+ctrl+backspace, alt+sysrq+k. Need to force power down.
