The package xxdiff-scripts uses the "patch" program, which is in the patch-2.5.9-5 (i386) package. But the dependency is missing. If you just install the xxdiff-scripts package and run xx-cvs-diff you get an error that the patch program cannot be found. The patch package must be installed manually, then everything works as expected.
