[Bug 439651] [NEW] Whenever I type the screen goes dim and my typing speed slows down

Also, whenever I try to scroll down the page there is lag and it is
really hard to scroll down the page.

I am using Ubuntu version 9.04, the Jaunty Jackalope version.

I don't expect this to be so laggy, or for the screen to consistently
dim and for the text to not keep up with the cursor when I type.
