I'm very sorry, but we cannot support binaries not built by ubuntu.
You're obviously using the mplayer package from an 3rd party package, I
suspect medibuntu. As they're using launchpad as well for bugs, you may
consider opening a bugtask there.

However, I don't think they (nor upstream) will be able to assist you
without a meaningful backtrack and proper testcase for reproducing this
problem. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace for instructions how to
create one.
