Unfortunately, it seems like your hardware is ahead of the Ubuntu repos.  Fear not, for there are packages available.  I actually had the same problem with my laptop.  This will all be fixed in Karmic, but if you cannot wait:
Install  xserver-xorg-video-intel      2:2.7.1-0ubuntu1~xup~1  from:
https://edge.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates
Install  libdrm2      2.4.14-0ubuntu0tormod~jaunty and  linux      2.6.30-10.12 from:
https://edge.launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/+archive/ppa/

That should fix it for you.

Bug description:
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

When i wanna watch a video on youtube (In full screen mode) i can but
its really choppy and throughout the video it pauses for like one or 2
seconds and it keeps doing that. Its very annoying, please help me solve
this problem. I'm using ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope and i currently
have no package selected. Im an ubuntu noob so plz help. Thanks in
advance!
