[Bug 437785] [NEW] context menus often do not show text until moused over

I'm running lavafox skin, don't know if that's where the problem lies.
All menus will, at times, appear blank.  They are the right size, just
no text until the mouse passes over where the words should be, then they
appear.  No apparent similarity between instances.
