Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-shell
Regarding to the "Applications area is where your favorite applications
and your running applications are shown". I just installed gnome-shell
and run it for some hours. Everything works fine, except the
applications area only shows Evolution (which I use once a month and not
currently) and OpenOffice.org Writer (which I only use once or twice a
week).
No current application is shown (Firefox, Gedit, Multiple Gnome-
Terminals) and no often used Application is shown.
