Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: python-numpy
Similar information as previous bugs, but on a new version upgrade.
I've read other posts about this type and some people have experienced
fix with an upgrade. So I upgraded over the course of two days from
8.04 to 8.10 to 9.04 and it still didn't fix. I did install on my own
the most up to date Numpy package, so that may be where the problem
lies. A work around seems to be (at least from the step of 8.04 to
8.10) editing /etc/python/debian_config to add the line "overwrite-
local=1", which makes it seemingly overwrite my install. Still seems a
problem worth looking at though.
Reporting this bug during the process of upgrading from 8.10 to 9.04.

Description: Ubuntu 9.04
Release: 9.04
I just expected the upgrade to work. And the "upgrader" said if failed
and automatically brought up the "Report a Bug" generator. Then left
this final message
"Could not install the upgrades
The upgrade is now aborted. Your system could be in an unusable state. A recovery will run now (dpkg --configure -a)."
