[Bug 435327] Re: when switching users it is not possible to change the language of the system

just upgraded to the very latest Karmic now:

I always log in in German first.

I Tried out to start a new session (with other language) - no effect to the language.
I logged out and in again:
I get an error that there was a problem with
OAFIID:GNOME_FastUserSwitchApplet
and if I want to delete it from my config.

I clicked no.
Xorg error
indicator-applet-session had an error (with no usable report)

As I wanted to click away the xorg (as it is a well known bug) by mistake I clicked away a third error which appeared in the same moment where I clicked on the xorg, so I cannot tell, what error that was.
Perhaps it would be able to cascade the error windows automatically - but that belongs to a wishlist, I suppose.

And now the whole menu where to hibernate, shut-down, etc. is gone.

I wanted to triy this again but after reboot the OAFIID:GNOME_FastUserSwitchApplet produced the same error.
And no chance to send bug data to you.

So I shut the VirtualBox down and restarted again and as long as I dont
delete teh OAFID:GNOME_FastUserSwitchApplet no change is seen.

I made a snapshot with VirtualBox.
this time I changed the language to English (United Kingdom) on logging in. (to give you the original English content of the error window:
The panel encountered a problem wihle
loading
„OAFIID:GNOME_FastUserSwitchApplet"
Do you want to delte the applet from your configuration
This time I deleted it

Restart
fsck terminated with 4 (?)
I repaired it
And the same error message as above appears (so I can't even delete it from the config)

So IMHO the bug is not really gone ;-)
