I can't recreate the bug for the moment, because my history is nearly empty, but I'm quite sure it has nothing to do with extensions or profiles. I disabled my addons one after the other and then enabled them one after the other again, and the problem stayed the same. I tried with a new profile as well and the problem still existed.
You really can't imagine what I've tried to make it go away.
Disabled plugins, enabled them, reinstalled them. Then did the same with addons, ubuntu themes, tried a different firefox theme to the standard one, ...
The only thing that made it go away is clear my history. Now my history is set to only remember for one week.
The problem came to me since upgrading to version 3.
