I don't know if it helps but I had the same problem and each time,
changing the genre did solve the problem.

Here are the CD, old genre (that lead to a crash) and new genre (that
made grip work well) :

Qemists - Join the Q                          Drum & Bass -> Electronic
Brigitte Fontaine - Morceaux De Choix         Chanson     -> Other
The Beatles - The Early Tapes Of The Beatles  Beat        -> Rock

It looks like every genre after "Other" makes grip crash.
