[Bug 433272] [NEW] Gwibber display messages starting with Alpha 6

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gwibber

did a dist-upgrade, and it appears that Gwibber no longer displays
messages. I'm having this problem on two machines. If I run gwibber. If
I run with $gwibber -v, I see:

but messages never seem to load.
