[Bug 427889] [NEW] No Chess, and No Fox, C'mon Bunny

Public bug reported:

Knew I should have kept my trap shut about the chess games. Now Firefox
is greyed out, windox unaccessible, requires Force Quit, just like with
pychess.

This occurred after most recent, substantial upgrade to Karmic, to
include new kernel.
