Description:	Ubuntu karmic (development branch)
Release:	9.10

glchess in gnome-games fails, so installed pychess.

apt-cache policy pychess
pychess:
  Installed: 0.10~beta1-1
  Candidate: 0.10~beta1-1
  Version table:
 *** 0.10~beta1-1 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/universe Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status


Fine until recent upgrade of karmic.
Now pychess fails. 

Expect to play chess. Screen darkens after starting game and
unaccessible.

I heart karmic, rhally, I do.

I suspect this, since it was the only most recent change to python.
