Similar problem occurs also for package "treeline" which would suggest a
PyQt bug. Similar has occured in Debian's python-qt4 and seems to have
been fixed in august with python-qt4-common release 4.4.4-6:

Karmic seems to currently have python-qt4-common 4.4.4-2ubuntu6, though
I'm not sure how the build numbers of Debian and Ubuntu relate to each
other.
