Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: padevchooser
I've just tracked down a persistant WLAN problem to padevchooser having "Enable Multicast/RTP sender" enabled.
Although the PC was running wired LAN, the multicast was making it onto the wireless LAN too.
My symptoms were inability (on WLAN) to get DHCP IP address,
delayed/failure to mount NFS home dir, general hanging of NFS home dir.
it's NOT padevchoosers fault, but it would be good if it displayed a
warning about this; a few users ticking this ignorantly could totally
ruin the WLAN.
** Affects: padevchooser (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
