I tried again to re-install 9.10 but the same issue happens (obviously I
tried to umount my CDROM from virtualbox menu)

Unfortunately I don't use VirtualBox OSE so I know that it's not a
supported software for Ubuntu but I thought that it could be an issue
that is present also with real hardware (I have no way to test this).

We could also test it on VirtualBox OSE but it takes some times (to me).
I don't know if someone else could test it.
