[Bug 423127] Re: do not depend on packagekit-gnome

After removing the packagekit-gnome dependency from paprefs and doing a
debuild:

$  sudo dpkg -i paprefs_0.9.8+git20090825-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb 
(Reading database ... 159751 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace paprefs 0.9.8+git20090825-0ubuntu1 (using paprefs_0.9.8+git20090825-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement paprefs ...
Setting up paprefs (0.9.8+git20090825-0ubuntu1) ...

...

noel at karmic:~/paprefs$  sudo apt-get autoremove
...
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
  python-packagekit libpackagekit-glib11 packagekit-gnome libdevkit-gobject0 packagekit packagekit-backend-apt
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  libdevkit-gobject0 libpackagekit-glib11 packagekit packagekit-backend-apt packagekit-gnome python-packagekit
...

So far I have found no reduced functionality.
