[Bug 462241] Re: Grub takes along time to load the list and the kernel

I have done a ubuntu 9.10 clean install on 30th october. it takes much
time to load the grub (grub 1.97 beta 4) menu. Can you tell what type of
Fix has been released? Is there any way to delete this new grub and
install the old good one?
