Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: atmel-firmware

Reproducing Error:
=========
I'm running a freshly installed Karmic with a Linksys WUSB11 2.8 plugged in. Karmic detects this but isn't able to connect to any of the networks seen.

This problem is fixed after installing atmel-firmware, when, magically,
everything suddenly works :-) However, a little red triangle emblem with
an exclamation mark frequently appears in the notification bar, stating
that a 'serious kernel error has been encountered and your system may be
unstable!'.

Despite my jarred nerves, everythings still a working. So not much of a
problem here, officer. Am extremely pleased Karmic gets this thing to
work with so little effort. In Intrepid, this required a custom
compilation of drivers that refused to compile. Hoooray for Karmic!
