[Bug 462864] [NEW] Timidity - default install - run as daemon does not make sound

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: timidity

Ubuntu 9.10 beta, fresh brand-new install.  Then, install Jack and
Timidity.  I cannot get timidity to make any sounds.

>From the jack ALSA connection box, I can get my USB-MIDI interfaces to
all communicate.  I can pass data from one MIDI device to another.  I
can get a virutal MIDI keyboard to send data to my Korg synthesizer.  I
cannot get any sound at all out of Timidity.

The default install should just work.
