Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: python-pytrilinos

The python-pytrilinos package uses trilinos original library names (
libepetra, etc) but the ones provided by the libtrilinos package have a
libtrilinos_ prefix, to avoid name clashes. The result is that python-
pytrilinos does not work:

~$ python
Python 2.6.4rc2 (r264rc2:75497, Oct 20 2009, 02:54:09)
[GCC 4.4.1] on linux2
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> from PyTrilinos import Epetra
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
  File "/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/PyTrilinos/Epetra.py", line 59, in <module>
    import _Epetra
ImportError: libepetra.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
