Hi moma, thanks for trying to make ubuntu desktop recording and
snapshotting a better experience. I also think this is very important.
Better tools will lead to better documentation.

Tried gtk-recordmydesktop on todays karmic live 64 bit. --use-jack is
not the default there. So I think this bug should be closed. Not sure
whether jack really ever was the out of the box default, but still
setting it fix released.

Not that it works perfectly out of the box. The sound has gaps, little
pieces missing. Makes it very hard to understand. I am still
investigating. "'Sound Recorder" works fine out of the box*, no gaps.
Any thoughts?
