I have that file alright. My guess is that you removed manually the file and confused the conffile handling at one point. Then purging "likewise-open5" doesn't clean up since the file is installed by likewise-open5-eventlog.
Please try "sudo apt-get purge likewise-open5-eventlog" and "sudo apt-get install likewise-open5-eventlog".
