[Bug 461584] [NEW] package openerp-server 5.0.5-1 failed to upgrade due to a missing group

Binary package hint: openerp-server

Upgrade from 9.04 to 9.10.  Openerp upgrade failed during the upgrade
process.  Prior to rebooting ran the following:

john at john-desktop:~$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
[sudo] password for john: 
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree       
Reading state information... Done
Calculating upgrade... Done
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
1 not fully installed or removed.

Setting up openerp-server (5.0.5-1) ...
Open ERP user (openerp) already exists, doing nothing.
chown: invalid group: `openerp:openerp'
dpkg: error processing openerp-server (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

john at john-desktop:~$ sudo groupadd openerp

john at john-desktop:~$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
Reading package lists... Done

1 not fully installed or removed.

Notice that when I manually added the group the subsequent install
worked.  I am unsure if this is the currect solution,  but it worked for
me.
