Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pidgin-facebookchat

Ubuntu 9.10 (karmic), 32 bit, Kernel 2.6.31-14-generic, [MSI Wind 100]
Pidgin 2.6.2 w/ pidgin-facebookchat 1.60 & Pidgin 2.6.3 w/ pidgin-facebookchat 1.61

Hi,
the facebookchat is indeed a nice plugin, thanks guys :)
But it disconnects very often, no matter if I was chatting or not. Pidgin then gives the option to abord or to reconnect, which works fine till the next disconnect. As you see above, I tried both the versions from the karmic repositories and the newest version - haven't tried on my 64-bit machine.

I figured out that this bug doesn't occur, if I'm logged in at Facebook
in my browser in parallel. As soon as I close my browser / log out at
facebook the bug starts again.

Regards,
