I can confirm this bug on Kubuntu 9.10 beta (i386) when installing
daemontools-run 1:0.76-3 from the main repos. Got the following error
message in apt-get :

Traitement des actions différées (« triggers ») pour « man-db »...                           
Paramétrage de daemontools (1:0.76-3ubuntu1) ...                                             
Paramétrage de daemontools-run (1:0.76-3ubuntu1) ...                                         
Starting svscan-service                                                                      
start: Unknown job: svscan                                                                   
dpkg : erreur de traitement de daemontools-run (--configure) :                               
 le sous-processus script post-installation installé a retourné une erreur de sortie d'état 1
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
