Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evolution-rss
Since upgrading my system to karmic beta evolution-rss no longer
downloads new messages on any of my subscribed feeds.
SYSTEM DATA:
Ubuntu version: 9.10 (with updates as of 10:00 am EDT today
Epiphany-rss version: 0.1.4-1ubuntu1
REPRODUCIBLE?: Definitely. It happens each time the steps below are
followed. In fact it happened twice wile submitting this bug.
STEPS:
1. Upgrade an Ubuntu Jaunty system with the evolution-rss package to the beta/RC of ubuntu karmic
2. Launch evolution and have evolution fetch new articles
EXPECTED:
Articles published since the last time the feeds were checked are downloaded per your settings
ACTUAL:
Despite not having updated the feeds in over a week (the last time I checked feeds with Evo before upgrading to karmic) no new messages are downloaded
I am attaching my current list of subscribed feeds as exported from
Evolution this morning. Some feeds have been temporarily disabled for
various reasons but not removed due to the fact that I may want to
enable them again in the future without having to snag the feed URI
again.
