Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: wine1.2
Applications, that have worked perfectly with Wine in Jaunty (like
'Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom') have stopped working under Karmic
with error message:
'fixme:ntdll:server_ioctl_file Unsupported ioctl 2d1400 (device=2d
access=0 func=500 method=0)'
I have started testing with Karmic RC. I have tried wine1.2
(1.1.31-0ubuntu1) and wine ( 1.0.1-0ubuntu6), both with the same result.
Under jaunty I have used the wine versions from the PPA for Ubuntu Wine
Team
