Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: sensors-applet
I just recently added the sensors applet to my Macbook running Karmic (
fresh Beta install, updated this morning ).
The first time I added the applet to the panel, I ended up with icons
for all 14 sensors in addition to the icons for the CPUs and GPU.
So I opened preferences, disabled everything except for the Fan, GPU and CPU temps, and then select "icons only" on the General tab.
My settings took effect immediately, however when I clicked "Close", an onscreen notification popped up which indicated that applet wasn't able to save the new settings. When I reboot and/or logout and back in, I get all the sensors again.
