I experience the same problem. I cannot use the fast-user-switch-applet.
BSOD (black screen of death). CTRL PrtSc reisub doesn't work, system
also does not respond to CTRL FN. I had this problem in Jaunty, but i
still experience it in Karmic.

i've added my xorg.0.log and xorg.0.log.old
