[Bug 455456] [NEW] Ipod not recognized in Karmic and Banshee

Ipod does not show up on Banshee

Rhythmbox recognizes the Ipod, it sees the songs and I can play them in
rhythmbox, but when I eject the Ipod, the Ipod reports that it is empty,
0 songs.

I uninstalled rhytmbox to see if there was a conflict. Still banshee
does not recognize Ipod.

The Ipod worked in Jaunty.

The Ipod icon does not show up on the desktop, only as a document. When
I click it opens as a mounted hard drive.
