Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: vlc

When closing any window in Ubuntu, with default compiz effect, there is a "fade" (the window disappears progressively).
Except for VLC when a video is playing : the effect is not "played", the window disappears instantly.

Moreover, sometimes, it moves the window about 20pixels to the top just
before closing (maybe the decoration height?). This is visually
disturbing.

Karmic beta, 64 bits.
