It may be too early to close this. I have been running Reaper with
wineasio with the last two RT-kernels with absolutely great results.
After the upgrade to -8 I now have many xruns, crackling and sound
dropouts. Ansolutely terrible performance on the same project that still
plays perfectly with RT-kernel -6 and -7 (so not due to the recent Wine
update). I tested with the nohz=on option and everything is back to
normal. At least in my case this makes a huge differense. dmesg output
attached from when I added nohz=on to the grub boot line.
