[Bug 448587] [NEW] Scanner from Epson DX8400 MFP ignored by sane

Public bug reported:

The scanner from the Epson DX8400 used to be handled by the libsane-
extras package, but it is now completely ignored. Packages like xsane
only see my Logitech webcam (UVC).
