Public bug reported:

I am currently running Karmic.

Problem:

After upgrading from Jaunty, the nagios-nrpe-server init script now
returns an error on start.

$ sudo /etc/init.d/nagios-nrpe-server restart
 * Stopping nagios-nrpe nagios-nrpe
   ...done.
[: 72: unexpected operator

Solution:

There is a syntax error in the 'start' case statement. Fix the typo and
the error goes away (see attached patch).

** Affects: nagios-nrpe (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
