Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: goobox

Description:	Ubuntu karmic (development branch)
Release:	9.10

goobox:
  Installed: 2.0.0-5ubuntu1
  Candidate: 2.0.0-5ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 2.0.0-5ubuntu1 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/universe Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Expected:
Play CD smoothly and no open file manager instances.

Actual Results:
I was trying to play my "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" CD. When I click play, it searches the CD for a long time. Then it starts opening multiple file manager instances and when it does this I can not actually browse the file system as when I click on one the file manager instances, it does not do anything. Also, when the CD does start playing, the sound is jerky, plays a bit then stops and then plays again. I am assuming this is because of the multiple instances of file manager using too many resources or memory. Even after shutting goobox (CD Player) down I still get open instances of file manager.

This may not be a problem with goobox as I saw this also with
DragonPlayer.

** Affects: goobox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
