[Bug 446281] [NEW] Unable to complete connection

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: telepathy-butterfly

Butterfly connects to MSN server but contact list is never displayed.
Empathy interface just shows the "busy" circle (top-right of empathy
contact list window) but nothing more happens. Connected contacts should
appear. To reproduce, just try to connect to an MSN account using
empathy.

I attached the file butterfly.log produced using following command (butterfly debugging):
BUTTERFLY_PERSIST=1 BUTTERFLY_DEBUG=all /usr/lib/telepathy/telepathy-butterfly 2>&1 | tee butterfly.log

Package version: 0.5.0-0ubuntu3
Distribution: Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic
Architecture: i386
Remark: Karmic running in a VirtualBox VM.
