the missing icons could be copied to /usr/share/icons/... by the ubuntu packager (which i am not).
but since soundkonverter 0.3 is a kde3 app, i don't think this has a high priority.

second, did you set the conversion options before adding the files? if
you already added the files, you can change the conversion options by
selecting the files and right click -> edit conversion options.
