The current version is 1.97~beta3-1ubuntu8. I updated to this and the
problem appears to be fixed now. Oddly, the other grub packages are
listed as still being 1.97~beta2-2ubuntu2? That must be some kind of
mistake, since grub2 is just a dummy package...
