I can confirm random all-but-mouse freezes (system still live, able to
ssh in and reboot).

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82865G Integrated
Graphics Controller (rev 02)

Dell Dimension 3000, 2g Ram.

Vesa allows the box to work.
