Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mplayer

When trying to launch mplayer (nogui) with some video or audio file, i got:
mplayer: symbol lookup error: mplayer: undefined symbol: codec_wav_tags

vlc still plays audio files, but no videos:
No suitable decoder module:
VLC does not support the audio or video format "FLV1". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this.
No suitable decoder module:
VLC does not support the audio or video format "mp3 ". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this.

Those error may depend of installing openshot video editor, cause i noticed it replaced some libraries libavcodec* family.
Today i upgraded last version mplayer for Karmic and hoped to fix problem, but nothing changed.
