Binary package hint: sensors-applet

I am using Ultimate Edition (Jaunty 9.04) on AMD 64 bit Phenom.

I used the following command on terminal:
"sudo apt-get install lm-sensors hddtemp sensors-applet computertemp"
and system frozen.

When I restarted the box manually, I used on terminal:
"sudo dpkg --configure -a"
and 
"sudo apt-get install lm-sensors hddtemp sensors-applet computertemp"
the result was:

E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
